The Duchy Shepherd Huts are built to a traditional design using modern construction techniques and the highest quality materials.
The steel chassis and internal frames are fully galvanised so the structure will last for decades therefore protecting your investment from expensive corrosion.
I am one of the few manufacturers that fully galvanize the chassis and frames. The galvanizing process protects the inside of the frames as well.
For low maintenance, I have used galvanised and powder coated corrugated iron for the barrel shaped roof and the sides.
There is a full size, house quality, hardwood double glazed stable door and a double glazed window. You can choose the
size and location of your window(s). Windows are available in uPVC or wood.
The hut is
lined with tongue and groove red wood planking over plywood and is fully insulated. This will keep you cool in the summer and cosy in the winter. It is so well insulated that a small
convector heater will be sufficient to keep you warm in winter. (240V supply required). The internal size is 14' x 6' 3", wide enough for a full
size mattress across the width.

Then this is the
ideal solution for you, shepherd huts do not normally need planning permission as they are on wheels and are therefore portable.
You can
have your hut fitted out for a variety of uses such as a writing studio, holiday let, garden office, workshop/ studio, sewing room, guest room, a retreat, glamping, the
possibilities are endless. Or you can do your own fitting out.
You will be hard
